Then Sings my soul Saturdays - Lord of lords

There's a line to this song that goes:
" Let not the things of this world ever sway me,
I'll run till I finish the race.."
Wow.. that line struck me.
It's a very reminder for us to include that in our prayers
considering the ways of the world that we live in.
Click on for more songs that you will be blessed with. =)
Happy weekend everyone!

Here's the lyrics:

Beholding Your beauty
Is all that I long for
To worship You Jesus
Is my sole desire
For this very heart
You have shaped for be your pleasure
Purposed to lift Your Name higher

Here in surrender
In pure adoration
I enter Your courts
With an offering of praise
I am Your servant
Come to bring You glory
As is fit for the work of Your hands

[Chorus 1:]
Now unto the Lamb
Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of creation resounds with the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords

Spirit now living
And dwelling within me
Keep my eyes fixed
Ever on Jesus' face
Let not the things of this world
Ever sway me
I'll run 'til I finish the race

[Chorus 2:]
Now unto the Lamb
Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of eternity echoes the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords

Holy Lord
You are holy
Jesus Christ
Is the Lord

[Chorus 3:]
Now unto the Lamb
Who sits on the throne
Be glory and honour and praise
Call all the sinners to join in the song
Worship and praise Him
The Lord of lords

Tuesday Couch Potatoes #1 - Did you hear about the Morgans? (2009)

I almost cried at the end part of this movie.
I was simply touched by its story.
Who ever knew that something broken at the start
would be mended after all- it just takes the will to never give up the love.
In New York City, the couple Paul Morgan (Hugh Grant) and
Meryl Morgan (Jessica Parker) who witness a murder are relocated
to small-town Wyoming as part of a witness-protection program
as their lives were in peril! So there, the romantic comedy begins!

yummy sUnday - ahOo! ahOo! a HuMba! #1

Who could ever resist the perfect blend of meat with soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, oil, and saba shredding? This was my viand for lunch. I missed eating this! This is truly one of the Filipino's best cooking! Yum yum yum! Of course, a friendly reminder that we must eat foods like this in moderation =) Consider the fat! =) Think of our heart health! =)

Last January 31, 2010, the wait was now over. Our Nursing Board Exam
(last November 2009) result finally came out! And tada! Amazing Grace and another bountiful blessing to count indeed, my name was there!
Glory be to God! I am now a Registered Nurse! After all the sweat, blood, and tears, all the hard work finally paid off and I couldn't reach this far without God by my side. With God everything is Possible! THANK YOU my Sovereign Lord! All these I give back to you, and through this calling, I will be Your instrument in the service of your people.

Cool and cLamMy!

A giant clam in a huge man-made aquarium. This is in our school. It is placed highly on a building where the people can see it above when they pass by the road. Wonderful creation in the watery world God has created isn't it? More watery creations in the Watery Wednesday Site! Just click on the link.

The smile pockets a rattling controversy.

Flower power

The beauty of nature itself cannot be hidden.
I am here with a gigantic gumamela flower and I kinda not know what is the name of the purple one. I love capturing Nature and all that is in it, especially flowers. They simply captivate me with their spectrum of colors!

Coke Cheers!

Earlier this night, our church friend Keena celebrated her post-graduation thanksgiving party at her house. It was indeed a fun and successful night considering that she really fell for our 'drama' surprise in making her disappointed and dismayed by telling her that we, her church friends couldn't come! Haha! Anyway, I am posting here a picture of Coke, which is, an ever-present partner cola drink of food in whatever gatherings people may have. I had a round of two sakto bottles (around 220 mL?). Well, I just couldn't help but associate this drink to a particular close friend of mine! She is absolutely and positively an avid drinker of it! Whew! It's a high-risk to blood sugar levels to shoot up alright! Let this post be a friendly reminder to all, that too much of something is bad in return. Health is indeed wealth! Let us be stewards of it.

Testing Waters

This is my part two blog. I'm currently editing and I find it amusing testing out the lay-outs and arranging the components in the blog. Hopefully, I would catch-up in handling and managing two blogs!
